• Where we are

This very private neighborhood is all residential. The villa is specially located in the green forests of Manuel Antonio, secluded from other houses. Being so close to the beach, you can hear the comforting sounds of the Pacific. Not far from the center of Manuel Antonio, you will have all kinds of small restaurants and shops to choose from. Not far is Quepos, a coastal town featuring the recently built Pez Vela Marina.

To state it, the view is breathtaking, with the Pacific coastline stretching out before you. Since the home is so secluded, no other buildings or homes are obstructing your view – nothing but the beauty of nature laid out before you.

• The surroundings

There is a large variety of wildlife that shows up at Fantastica’s doorstep. The Titi and White-faced monkeys will entertain you, and the Howler monkeys will serenade you. Exotic butterflies and tropical birds spread their wings in the lush foliage and gardens that were created with wildlife habitats in mind. Other small mammals such as Titi monkeys and sloths can also be spotted in the acre of land that is maintained by Casa Fantastica’s owner.

Pure luxury

This spacious 12,000-square foot luxurious villa features two wings with a total of 10 bedrooms on four levels. The home is constructed using the best natural materials, including exotic woods, limestone, custom tiles, and terrazzo, as well as many functional and artful uses of glass. The Grand Salon is at the entry level. This expansive space is perfect for large parties, yet is very comfortable and welcoming.

It features a gourmet kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining for 12, two outdoor living rooms, a BBQ, a large bar and two half-baths. The large infinity-edge pool features a 20-person solar heated whirlpool. The upper level has several covered balconies, a spectacular master suite, and three master bedrooms. The game room, gym, and cinema are on the game room level, along with three luxury bedrooms and 3.5 baths. On the lower level is the spa, with two master suites and a luxury bedroom.

• The Kitchen

The kitchen features restaurant-quality appliances such as a six-burner stove, large microwave and oven, dishwasher, three sinks, additional drink fridge, and 20-bottle wine chiller. Beautiful woodwork frames the granite countertops. From the large sinks, you can see the pool and double-size BBQ as well as the green valley and ocean beyond. The kitchen has a full complement of dishes, flatware, and glasses, making it perfect for
catering to large parties. Chef service is included for two meals a day; the cost of food is additional.

• The Pool

At 18 meters long and 10 meters wide, it is one of the largest in the country for a private home. The shallow water of the pool forms a “beach” that allows easy entry into the pool. Comfortable lounge chairs ring the pool beneath the cooling fronds of a 30-foot palm tree. The warm-water whirlpool seats 20 and flows into the adjacent pool. Relax and enjoy the magnificent view of Manuel Antonio National Park and the small Pacific islands dotting the bay.

• The Dining Room

The dining room of this most beautiful and luxurious Villa has spectacular glass walls that seem to disappear, allowing the views of the pool, ocean, and garden to flow into the room. The elegant granite dining table seats 12 in luxurious leather and wood chairs. There are two rectangular granite tables near the pool. These tables seat an additional twelve guests and can be relocated to accommodate large groups.

• Outdoor Living Rooms

The most welcoming rooms in the house are the two covered outdoor living areas, situated to enjoy the cool ocean breezes with the soothing motion of ceiling fans. Just outside the grand salon with its expansive wall of windows, the oversized sofa and comfortable lounge chairs look out over the crystal-clear pool and are shaded by the high bamboo ceiling. Crossing to the western side of the home, the other shaded living room is between the “beach” and the grand salon.

Perfect for Large Groups and Wedding Events

The spacious 1,000-square foot room has dramatic window walls that slide away to reveal the gorgeous view and allow the cool ocean breezes to flow throughout the area. It provides ample space to host a large group with its 4-person marble table, seven club chairs, four sofas, and 15-foot bar with beverage fridge and seating for eight. For entertainment, the area features a flat-screen TV, stereo with iPod dock and DVD. In the front of the room, 25-feet wide windows open up to the pool and the Pacific.

Another side is high above the jungle floor and looks out through the windows into the lush forest.This villa was designed to embrace an indoor outdoor lifestyle and to create a central living space that brings the outdoors inside. The layout and open air doors allows guests to enjoy the surrounding nature without the need for air conditioning.  

• The Master Suites

There are three master suites, one on the upper level and two on the lower level. The master suite on the top level of the eastern wing has a leather-backed king-size bed, a large bar with mini-kitchen, vanity, dressing area and security safe. While relaxing in lounge chairs on its large private balcony, you can take in the panoramic view of the beach, ocean, and rainforest.

Exotic details of the room include large bamboo double doors,frosted glass walls, and travertine marble accents. The spa-style master bathroom is quite spectacular.

• Spectacular Views

The view of the ocean and beach is welcomed into the room through a large glass wall on the western side. Hanging from the bamboo ceiling, the platform shower has a large rain showerhead. The base of the shower is smooth green glass, edged with pebbles, allowing the water to flow gently downward. Turquoise glass tiles form the sides of the large bathtub. The first master suite on the lower level features a private balcony, pedestal king-size bed, vanity, wet bar, and a large bathroom with multiple shower heads. The second master on the lower level also features a king-size bed, sitting area, desk, and large bathroom with whirlpool tub.

• Upper Level Luxury Bedrooms

Three large bedrooms on the top level in the western wing have large closets, king-size beds, marble and limestone baths with jacuzzi tubs and showers. They share lovely outdoor terraces with ocean or jungle views. All bedrooms have the finest luxurious 500-count cotton sheets. Luxurious bathrobes and fragrant tropical soaps are also supplied.

• Mid and Lower Level extravagant Bedrooms

There are six more spacious jungle-view bedrooms on the middle and lower levels on the western side. These rooms, 10 to 20 feet above the jungle floor, are perfect for spotting the visiting monkeys, birds, and butterflies. Five of these bedrooms have king beds. The last bedroom, on the middle level, has two twin beds and a twin day bed; two of the twins can be combined into a king bed. Each has its own en-suite bathroom with beautifully tiled showers, and two have unique waterfall sinks. All bedrooms feature quality linens and amenities.

• Entertainment Area
  

Everyone will find something to enjoy in the large game room. The play area includes a regulation-size pool table, ping pong table, darts, and foosball table. A long bench seat is framed by the view of the ocean and jungle. The glass-bottomed pond above the pool enhances the atmosphere of the room with its soft light.

• In House gymnasium

The 500-square foot gym has large windows and two mirrored walls. Equipment includes two stationary bikes, a universal machine, weights, a massage table and open space for yoga, Pilates or private training.

1. Large Private Cinema

The cinema has comfortable seating for 30, a digital projector and sound system, large fridge and microwave oven. Movies can be borrowed from the Escape Villas office, or rented in Quepos. This room can also sleep up to five additional guests.

Wedding Tent and Dance Floor

Dance the night away in this elegant tent with a wooden dance floor. Outfitted with brocade valance and flowing ivory curtains, it is set up in the tropical entrance garden at the front of the villa. Two 42” shell chandeliers provide romantic evening light for seated dinners up to 80 people, and cocktail or dance parties up to 100 guests.

• Exclusive Spa

Plan a day of indulgence in your private spa without even leaving the villa. Three treatment rooms are located on the lower level of the home. Sliding walls can be adjusted to accommodate complete privacy or a more open, party arrangement of up to four tables. The spa has been designed so that the jungle fauna just outside of the trellised walls may be enjoyed. Sounds of wildlife and rustling palms will relax the senses while you treat
yourself to a massage, manicure, pedicure, facial or full body treatment.

• Helpful and polite Staff
  

Let our dedicated staff pamper you beyond belief. They are comprised of two housekeepers six days a week, a chef for two meals a day, gardener, pool man and handyman on call at all times. The Escape Villas staff can arrange local transportation, tours, and spa treatments. They will be happy to share their knowledge of Manuel Antonio and assist you in any way they can to make your vacation at Casa Fantastica genuinely memorable.
